Pupils continue studying the Edexcel 360 science syllabus by studying the following topics:

•  C1b Topic 7 - There's one Earth

•  C1b Topic 8 - Designer products

•  C2 Topic 5 - Synthesis

•  C2 Topic 6 - In your element

•  C2 Topic 7 - Chemical structures

•  C2 Topic 8 - How fast? How furious?

•  C3 Topic 3 - Chemical detection

•  C3 Topic 4 - Chemistry working for us

Exams are taken in November of Year 10 (C1b exam), June of Year 10 (C2 exam) and June of Year 11 (C3 exam). Pupils are also assessed on their practical skills.

All pupils study triple science at Oakwood Park Grammar School

Enrichment days and trips

Year 10 pupils have a day looking at the threat of global warming and possible future fuels.

Year 11 pupils study solutions, including the problems caused by hard water and determining the concentration of a solution using practical techniques.
