Subject content Pupils will have chosen to take French as an option and will expand upon and develop more ambitious grammatical concepts. Pupils should feel at ease using at least four different tenses and use a wider range of vocabulary. At this stage they will prepare themselves for GCSEs (over 2yrs). Equal importance is given to listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Enrichment days and trips Trips (day trips) have been arranged for Yr 7, Yr 8 & Yr 9 (in the Boulogne area). Yr 8 goes on a residential trip to Normandy in the summer. Yr 13 students go on a cross-curricular trip to the Loire Valley . Plays have been performed at school in French by the Onatti Theatre
