Schemes of Work

Year 10 and 11

Subject content

Students are taught in sets based on their performance in the KS3 SAT's and their teacher's recommendation. All students will encounter Number and Algebra, Shape Space and Measures and Data Handling topics at the appropriate levels during Years 10 and 11. All students are entered for the Higher Paper at the end of Year 11.

Ever since the GCSE exam was introduced our results have been impressive, not only in the pass rate, but also in the proportion achieving grades A* and A.
