Morgan Hellen (Year 10) recently competed at the National Schools Rowing Champtionship at Nottingham and won a gold medal in the Sculls Double.  He is now one half of the Schools National Sculls Double Champions for 2008.  What is more impressive is that they beat the public school stalwarts of Eton!

Even more impressive is the conditions in which it took place.  Other competitions had to be cancelled as 8 boats got into difficulties on the water due to high winds and rain.
