Subject content

In Y10 and 11, we follow the Edexcel 360Science course. This has 3 tiers, which increase steadily in order of difficulty. At the moment all our students are entered for Physics as a full GCSE course in year 11.

The course is modular with external assessment 3 times a year and also a series of internally assessed units including teacher assessment of practical skills but no coursework . Teaching begins in Year 9.

In Key Stage 4, the text-books are accompanied by a CD-ROM Active book which includes extension questions and activities.
