Subject Content

All students will study Short Course Religious Studies, and have the option to take it as an option for their GCSE studies.

In Short Course you will study:

• Planet Earth

• Existence of God, Suffering and Life After Death

• Love and Forgiveness

• Life Issues (Abortion, War and Peace, Prejudice)

If you choose to study religious studies at Full Course you will study all of the above, as well as Marks Gospel andContemporary Moral Issues, including:

• Leadership

• Worship

• Eucharist

• Sabbath

• Faith, Prayer and Commitment

• Suffering, death and resurrection.

Extension Activities

Lunchtime and After-School sessions are run for able students by both prefects and staff of the R.S. department to challenge student further
