Supervised Study
The school runs supervised study sessions in the school library between 3.30 and 4.30, Monday through to Thursday.   These sessions are open to all students who would like the opportunity to use the library facilities to work on homework or coursework tasks. Can I stress that these sessions are not detentions. Directors of Study may contact parents if they feel that their son would benefit from this provision.

Students must adhere to normal rules of the school library and must ensure that they sign in and out.  I hope that your son finds this a useful addition to our current after school provision.

Severe Weather Conditions

Severe Weather Information PDF

It is my intention to keep the school open during the school day. If there is an emergency situation before the school day making it impossible to open, I would get a message to BBC Radio Kent and Invicta Radio. If weather deteriorates during the day I may decide to release students early, if they wish to leave, but those who wish to stay may do so, and will be supervised until normal closing time. The school will not lock students out!

In the event of severe weather the school will try to remain open for public examinations.   Should the school close on a day when a public examination is due to take place please check the school website for the latest information.  It will be our aim to remain open, if at all possible, for public examinations. It is the individual candidate’s responsibility to determine whether or not it is safe to travel on any given day but we would advise you to attend your examinations where possible.

Please contact us and leave a message if you are unable to attend your examination.
