OPGS is delighted to host events in the school across the year, which give students in Year 4 and Year 5 an opportunity to come into our school and get a taste of what lessons at OPGS are like. Last year we held the following events;
- History Mystery Detectives
- Forensic Science Investigations
- Art sessions
- A Physical Education lesson on football skills
- Climate Change

OPGS Sports Fest: This is an event targeted at Year 4 and Year 5 students and aims to give them a taster of grammar school sports. The event will include taster sessions in Handball, table tennis and basketball.

Primary Link Chess Club
We also proudly host a fortnightly Chess Club. Everyone is welcome regardless of standard!
