Careers and Higher Education Lead

Full time, term time only (plus 4 additional weeks)

OPGS Band 9 – (£32,933-37,188 FTE)

Start Date: September 2025

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Careers and Higher Education Lead to drive our whole-school CEIAG strategy and support students through UCAS, Oxbridge, apprenticeships, and beyond.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the UCAS process and Oxbridge/early entry preparation
  • Organise work experience, university visits, and careers events
  • Coordinate platforms like Unifrog and support Sixth Form transition
  • Deliver high-quality, impartial guidance to students across all year groups

We’re looking for:
✔ Knowledge of post-16/post-18 pathways
✔ Excellent communication & organisation skills
✔ A student-first mindset and passion for guiding young people

Teacher of French

Required from September 2025. We require a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspiring French graduate, to join an experienced and well-established Modern Foreign Languages Department in this selective Boys’ Grammar School, with a co-educational Sixth Form. There will be an opportunity to teach at all Key Stages and the suitable candidate should be prepared to teach up to and including A Level French. The successful candidate will be creative, imaginative and an excellent team player with a proven record of excellence in the classroom.
