GCSE Results Day 2020

Staff at Oakwood Park Grammar school were delighted to greet their Year 11 students on GCSE results day.  Students were pleased to collect their grades and celebrate the outcome of 5 years of hard work. OPGS students have decided to take a wide range of A level subjects that will lead to varied careers. We have a strong cohort of top scientists, who may go on to study Medicine or other STEM paths: Pranay Ale, Sam Dickinson, Jack Green, Joseph Hart, Ed Hodgson, Dan King, Sid Kirk, John Paulose, Tom Rose and Ahmad Sesay. Those high achievers who have taken the Humanities and Social Sciences route to be our future lawyers and politicians are Liam Allan, Alexander Courtney-Jones, Iestyn Bevan, Tom Homewood, Ben Perks, Alex Potts, Jack Slade and Jamie Sturrock. The economy will be in safe hands with our OPGS economists and mathematicians: Nils Andre, Chris Dalby, Luca Finelli, Callum Regan, Dylan Small and Ace Shyjan. Students who have top GCSE scores are also taking the creative, arts and languages routes such as Sam Folley, Louis Mytidis, Josh Brundish, James Eckley, Jamie Mullins and Jack Smith.  Head Teacher Kevin Moody said: ‘I am delighted and thrilled to congratulate our Year 11 students who have gained the grades necessary to proceed to the next stage of their lives .’ OPGS Sixth Form looks forward to welcoming the new Year 12 joining us from a variety of schools in September.
