Open Events

We welcome prospective Sixth Form pupils and their parents to our annual Open Evening which will take place on Wednesday 9th December 2026. Guests will hear from the Sixth Form Team, tour the school and meet staff and prefects in subject areas.  

In addition to this, we have two Open Mornings on 11th and 15th December when prospective applicants can visit lessons and see the school as it is on a working day.  

For students who apply to OPGS Sixth Form, there are two Taster Days on 24th and 25th June. Students will follow a Sixth Form timetable in their chosen subjects and meet their future classmates and teachers. On the second day prospective students were given the opportunity to spend the second day in a university setting and work on a small project to sharpen their skills and build relationships before joining us in September.
