Overview
OPGS Excel is the collective name for the wide range of clubs and societies offered to students.
Learning and enjoyment go hand-in-hand and the range of clubs and societies on offer give students the chance to challenge themselves, broaden their skills and master new things outside of the classroom.
Students, please spend some time looking through the opportunities available to you and speak directly to the member of staff in charge to join.

Strategy Board Game Club - All Year Groups Welcome
Content and Outcomes
Various board games are available to learn the rules and compete/team up with each other. Games include Chess, Settlers of Catan, Risk, Boss Monster, Troll, and others. Students will develop their planning and strategizing skills whilst having fun socialising with pupils from other year groups that they may not otherwise mix with.

Students will be provided with French/ Spanish films they will be studying in A level as well as contemporary films screening from French/ Spanish cinemas. Students will improve their vocabulary and listening skills as well as their background knowledge of the culture in both linguistic areas (Francophone/ Hispanic).

Students will be introduced to Psychology in a fun informal way with the aim of promoting subject interest at GCSE & A Level.
