Teacher Training – Achieving Qualified Teacher Stats (QTS)
Oakwood Park Grammar School, in partnership with Kent and Medway Teacher Training (KMT), offers teacher training places, starting in September every year. The posts are unsalaried but bursaries may be available. OPGS has been a Training School for over 10 years, and can offer an exceptional, well supported training experience with dedicated mentors and a clear focus on mastering the fundamentals of teaching.

Post QTS – The Early Career Framework (ECF) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)

Oakwood Park Grammar School works in partnership with Kent Teaching School Hub (KTSH) and Ambition Institute to deliver a comprehensive induction for ECTs. All ECTs have a dedicated mentor to guide and coach them through the two-year induction and Ambition Institute’s instructional coaching programme.
