Computing KS4 and KS5 Lead

We require a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspiring Head of KS4 & KS5 Computing, to lead an experienced and well-established department in our selective Boys Grammar School. The school is co-educational in the Sixth Form. There will be an opportunity to teach all key stages and work collaboratively with our Head of KS3 Computing. High quality teaching and learning is our absolute priority and so we are looking for someone who will be creative and have a proven track record of excellence in the classroom. The Computing Department has consistently produced exceptional outcomes and students are passionate and committed to this subject area.

Computing KS4 and KS5 Lead Job DescriptionStudent Development and Support Assistant
Salary £23,807 to £25,252 per annum FTE (£19,455 to £20,644 pro rata) depending on experience
35 hours per week, Term Time plus Staff Development Days
We are looking to recruit an Assistant for our busy Student Development and Support Department. We are looking for someone who is proficient in a range of software including Excel and Word as well as being confident in their ability to learn our school-based software systems. The successful candidate will be working face to face with students on a 1:1 and small group basis. They will need to possess excellent administrative and organisational skills, and be confident in their ability to work in a classroom setting in order to observe lessons. A prior understanding of SEN would be an advantage but also an open mind and willingness to learn as directed would be beneficial.
