Two for Tuesday: Our first thing to celebrate today relates to a heartwarming gift from Riley in Year 9. A family friend of Riley has donated a replica of a Bayeux Tapestry to the History department. Miss Aldous is absolutely delighted with such a generous gift. Thank you! Our second thing to celebrate today is the work completed in Miss Price's English lesson by Year 8. They have been working on poetry which celebrates their identity and heritage. They then collaborated in their houses to present their poetry in a variety of styles and invited Mrs Craig along to listen. They did an amazing job and presented some outstanding, original poetry.

A huge thank you to three of our Head Students; Finn, Charlotte and Josh for leading on the whole school remembrance ceremony. It was a special moment and brought the community together in a moment of respect. However, a special mention must go to Angus, who is in Year 12. Angus has played The Last Post as part of our service for 4 years consecutively. He is an extraordinary talent and wonderful young person. To deliver a note perfect moment of respect in front of over 1000 people was poignant and fitting of the occasion. Thank you, students. #striveandserve
