Congratulations to the many OPGS students that have gone through the 150 achievement point threshold. They had Breakfast with the Head but there were so many we needed to host it in our gym. Well done to everyone!

Thank you to members of our brilliant @opgssixth Senior Prefect Team who gave up their Sunday morning to volunteer for The Weald of Kent Rotary Club in support of their annual North Downs Walk in aid of their own charity and @cr_uk

Well done to all those who took part in the charity run in aid of @midkentmind this afternoon. Students involved have raised over £2000 for the charity. If you'd like to donate go to Just Giving and search for Team Fundraising for Midkent Mind Oakwood Park Grammar School. Thanks to 6th formers Nathan and Mustafa (final photo!) for organising the event.

Today was our 8th annual Volunteering Day, meaning that our students have committed roughly 20,000 hours to the local community since its inception. We are deeply proud of OPGS students and the work they do on these days; whether they've spent the day supporting the local church, litter picking, working in a primary school or tree conservation work, they have represented themselves, their school and families wonderfully. Well done, everyone. #striveandserve
