At OPGS we are always striving to match the needs of our students to the rapidly changing economic and higher education environments. The number and variety of offers of places from Oxbridge and other elite universities continues to grow. In recent years, we have also consolidated our connections with City firms and engineering companies. Every year we follow with excitement the careers of our students from years gone by. The fact that so many are keen to take current OPGS 6th Forms students on for work experience is testament to the warm and lasting relationships our staff develop with our 6th Form students.

Absolutely delighted to accept this gift from the Simmons family, who live locally. The map was found in their house and they've kindly paid to have it professionally mounted and framed in order to gift it to the school. The map is from 1932 and Mrs Craig has enjoyed showing it off this afternoon and pointing out that almost 100 years ago, our current site was in fact a golf course. Huge thank you to the Simmons family.
