We have a highly motivated and well qualified staff, supportive parents and, perhaps most importantly, students who are a delight to teach because of their excellent attitude to learning.
At OPGS we are always striving to match the needs of our students to the rapidly changing economic and higher education environments. The number and variety of offers of places from Oxbridge and other elite universities continues to grow. In recent years, we have also consolidated our connections with City firms and engineering companies. Every year we follow with excitement the careers of our students from years gone by. The fact that so many are keen to take current OPGS 6th Forms students on for work experience is testament to the warm and lasting relationships our staff develop with our 6th Form students.

It was wonderful to see so many Year 9 students and their families this evening for our Options Event. This event was preceded by our Subject Electives Enrichment Day and will be followed by a Year 9 Consultation Evening. At OPGS, we do everything to ensure that students have high quality IAG and that they are making informed decisions about their futures.

Catch the Headteacher's Newsletter for the details on events in school this past fortnight. However, we are excited to share a few more bits and pieces... Well done to Rory C in Year 10 who was selected to play for Saracens Kent recently and to Thomas F in Year 13, who has published his first book this week. We are also keen to hear from people who might be interested in joining us as our new DT Technician - email office@opgs.org for details. We had a brilliant Enrichment Day this week and were thrilled that students have received offers to study at Oxford and Cambridge as well as Medicine at other prestigious institutions. What a week!
