Meet Our Director of Sixth Form
At OPGS we are always striving to match the needs of our students to the rapidly changing economic and higher education environments. The number and variety of offers of places from Oxbridge and other elite universities continues to grow. In recent years, we have also consolidated our connections with City firms and engineering companies. Every year we follow with excitement the careers of our students from years gone by. The fact that so many are keen to take current OPGS 6th Forms students on for work experience is testament to the warm and lasting relationships our staff develop with our 6th Form students.

Year 12 Economists participated in a new Economics Challenge set by St Catharine's College, University of Cambridge. They battled with new paradoxes and complex mathematical equations that even left some of our A Level Mathematic student scratching their heads. 13 students were successful in gaining certificates with nine students achieving the 'Mint Award' and four the 'Crown Award'. Those that achieved the Mint Award were in the top 31.1% of all participants and those students that achieved the Crown Award were in the top 21% of all participants. Another outstanding achievement by OPGS students.
